Wilkinson was born in London and raised in Kent. His father is a professional drummer, and his mother is a music teacher. Wilkinson began playing drums at the age of four. He cites his father and Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham as his biggest musical influences.Wilkinson first started producing electronic music at the age of thirteen, using a basic computer program. He later upgraded to Fruity Loops, and began to experiment with different genres of music. He eventually settled on drum and bass, and began to produce his own tracks.Wilkinson’s first major release was “Moonwalker”, which was released on RAM Records in 2012. The track was featured on BBC Radio 1’s “B-List” for six weeks. It was also included in various drum and bass compilation albums.Since then, Wilkinson has released several singles and EPs, including “Lazarus”, “Afterglow”, and “Half Light”. He has also remixed tracks for other artists, such as Chase & Status, Calvin Harris, and Example. In 2013, he releases his debut album, Lazers Not Included, on Ram Records. The album received critical acclaim, and entered the UK Albums Chart at number twelve.
